A DENTAL CLINIC GETS A FRESH

LOOK TO MATCH THEIR MISSION.

Citizen Dental isn’t your typical dental office — their community-minded clinic believes everyone should have access to dental care, especially those who typically can’t afford it. Unfortunately, the interior of their clinic didn’t suit this forward-thinking mantra, or the fun and friendly personalities of the owners and staff.

The existing interior was a true throwback to the 90’s, worn down from years of heavy use. Dark espresso wood, mismatched lighting, ripped carpet, dark walls — it all needed to go.

The clincher? Because they couldn’t be closed for weeks or months at a time due to revenue loss, all of the construction needed to be completed within the 10 days they were closed for summer break.

Working with the amazing team at Fresh Start Projects, we planned and planned to ensure we could pull it off. And pull it off we did — including brand new reception millwork, new flooring throughout, and paint on every wall, door, and bit of ceiling. We replaced every light in the space, including the T-bar fluorescents in the op area, which were given new LED panels with colour temperature options — a very important feature when showing off the results of laser whitening. We added pops of wallpaper throughout, as well as a custom painted mural in the reception area that added a punch of personality + tied in their branding colours.
